The June 23 City Council agenda includes a goal to accept the Sky Ranch streets in the fiscal year. Most of the streets currently remain responsibility of Lennar. Once the City accepts the streets they will be maintained by the City, and their code enforcement personnel will be able to take action. Also, the Sheriff will be able to enforce infractions e.g. parking, minor moving violations etc.
We deep watered the tree several times and the tree is starting to leaf again. I don’t know why they don’t fix the stake attached to the tree. The landscapers adjusted the irrigation and appear to be operating it manually. For the first time in 10 years mulch was added to the ground near the house, but not the upper slope. The HOA also added some new plants. It is very hot now so hopefully they will keep the plants alive.
If you can’t install play equipment or dig holes in HOA landscape, how about making some trails?
We are again trying to save a tree near our house because the irrigation is not operating again. I almost regret reporting the previous irrigation leak further up the slope, but there is the erosion issue to consider. We suspect that the water running down the slope from the leak helped the trees in the background.
Good news: no recent crime in Sky Ranch reported by the Sheriff. It’s bad news if crime occurred, but wasn’t addressed. The site tends to under report.
The questions you pose to the City show a lack of awareness of our own documents and embarrass the community.
It’s April and you are seeking the landscape plans. Apparently, you don’t realize that the documents you submitted to the City in December included the landscape plans. They are on pages 249-348 of your document.
The list of prohibited plants can be found in the CC&Rs.

The “smart” sprinklers weren’t impressed by the rain today.
