I reported this loose fence in February this year. The poor repair has already failed. This is at Sevilla/Calico.
House fire just outside the development, north of Mirador Street. Despite the darkness the reporter noted the excess brush.
Do you think we will be able to get in or out during a fire? This is the emergency access road connected to the end of Monticello Street.
Excerpt from CC&Rs requiring regular maintenance (trimming, irrigation, etc) along the road (arrows added by me).
The fire department says our community is shelter in place, meaning the community was designed to allow homeowners to stay home during a fire. Look at the photo below and decide if you trust them. The photo below shows the northern border of the community at Mirador Street. Most or all of the area to the right of the fence in the photo is not the responsibility of the HOA. The fire department schedules brush clearing inspections during the summer. I don’t think that they are thorough. This photo was taken 10-19-2023.
This happened at the same location as a few weeks ago. They are spraying the street, and shooting a single stream at a light post.
Despite complaints, and even a lawsuit, irrigation issues continue. I reported a malfunction at this spot three months ago. This is next to the street and easily visible. I have to wonder what is happening with the sprinklers that are in remote areas and less visible.
A jogger had just unknowingly run by this rattlesnake.
The city issued another Courtesy Notice (.pdf) to the HOA regarding landscape that is so deficient that erosion continues, in violation of code. Another was issued last year (pdf).
