The current budget released to homeowners lists operating expenses in four broad categories: Utilities, Land Maintenance, Common Area, and Administration. It may not be a coincidence that the HOA filed their doomed lawsuit against Lennar Homes in late 2017, and we haven’t seen a detailed financial statement since then. The HOA, despite promises to the contrary, has not provided the details of the settlement, nor the cost of the pool slide lawsuit that was botched by filing it too late. The cost of restoring neglected landscape, as ordered by the City, may also have played a part.
