Is anyone addressing this?
For the third consecutive month the Open Session HOA meeting will be canceled because they failed to post the agenda four days before the meeting. The management company sent an email about the Open and the Executive meetings to be held on Thursday. But as of Monday morning no new agendas were posted. Some time on Monday (see below) the agenda for the Executive Meeting was posted. Presumably, like last month, the Executive meeting will be held since only two days notice is required. There hasn’t been a meeting, even a Zoom meeting, that regular homeowners can attend since January 2020.
The City of Santee has again issued a Notice of Violation (pdf attached) to the Sky Ranch HOA for landscape violations. The letter states, “Should these violations reoccur or remain unresolved (open case), administrative citations and civil fines ranging from $100 to $1,000 per violation per day may be issued.” The letter instructs the community to provide a revised Operation and Maintenance plan, and to “Prevent erosion of all slopes and flat areas along right-of-way by installing an effective combination of vegetation and erosion control BMPs.” It also states, “There are many areas that require revegetation, mulch, and/ or other additional BMPs to be installed.”
Pages 4-11 of the attachment have a series of photos taken on November 3, 2020, during a simple drive-through inspection by City staff. It includes photos of the large slopes on Cala Lily that need to be revegetated.
The HOA has not shared this information with homeowners, but the deplorable landscape is clearly visible.
